"A Team with Strong Values": Franck Renimel Joins Winspace Orange Seal

The former Arkéa Sports Director joins the Winspace Orange Seal (WOS) staff for the 2025 season as a performance consultant. He also becomes the personal coach of Constance Valentin, a rider on the team since 2024. He will reunite with Marie-Morgane Le Deunff, who was not retained by the Breton team and is a new recruit at WOS.

A familiar figure in women’s cycling joins the WOS ProTeam for the upcoming season. Franck Renimel does not hide his ambition to contribute meaningfully.

"Jean-Christophe Barbotin made the right choices regarding the riders," he says. "You can feel a real evolution."

Like the new Sports Director Damien Pommereau, the former national coach of the Seychelles attended the training camp held in La Rochelle from December 16 to 20.

"All the riders, without exception, are dedicated," he observes. "They train seriously. They are eager to have an excellent season and approach their work like true professionals."

"We Have All the Tools to Do Great Work"

He affirms that he has joined "a team with strong values." The team’s promotion to ProTeam status and its well-thought-out recruitment "convinced me."

"Winspace may not be well-known yet, but the bikes and wheels are top quality. We have all the tools to do great work."

He will oversee the training of the 11 riders.

"I will strive to create positive momentum and correct any gaps we identify," he explains.

He will regularly contact the riders’ personal coaches to remind them of each rider’s specific goals.

"Coordination between different professionals (physiotherapists, doctors, riders, etc.) in case of physical issues will be essential," adds the Rennes native.

Constance Valentin, who claimed the climber's jersey during the first stage of the Tour de Normandie, is now benefiting from Franck Renimel’s training plans.

"I create her training plans," he says.

"I contact her regularly to ensure she reaches peak performance," he adds, with the goal of seeing her shine early in the season.
